If someone passes away in Hinesburg, Vermont at creation. Will have to get the body from wherever it may be (hospital or home) for creation?Ashes to be mailed to Vermont (home)A we wish to take the ashes at the families convenience How much of a price would that be? We will take the ashes to Acworth, NH. We moved back North from NC in summer of 2016.Also, we lived in Essex,VT before we moved to NC for 4 yrs. Hi Betty,I certainly hope we are not too late in answering your question.Typically what happens is we will work with a funeral home in Vermont to arrange the transfer and assist with permits and certificates. Then we can either have that funeral home cremate, or we can transfer the person here for us to cremate. Then the cremated remains can be mailed to you or we can arrange a pickup time for you to come into the funeral home.
