He was born on March 15, 1941 in Lowell, MA to the late Walter and Helen (Saunders) Young. Chris served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He moved to Newport, NH in the 1970's and spent the rest of his life in the area. Chris loved his family, was passionate about his religion, and was a dedicated and involved volunteer in his community. Chris was an active and longtime member at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
