General Evolution Tips for Pokemon Sleep
Check Evolution Requirements
First and foremost, you should probably find out what your Pokemon needs in order to evolve. To do this, go to the Pokemon page of whichever Pokemon you want to evolve. Tap on the Evolve button next to the Level Up option.
You should then be able to see the level, sleep, or item requirements your Pokemon need as well as the amount of Candy. With this knowledge, you can start building up your Pokemon.
Only Pokemon that can still evolve will have the Evolve option. Pokemon that are in their final evolution stage can only be leveled up.

Gather Candies
Pokemon may differ in evolution requirements, but they all need Candy in order to evolve.
The easiest, most natural method of obtaining Candies is to conduct Sleep Research. Go to sleep using the app and try to get a high Drowsy Power to get more Pokemon and rarer Sleep Styles to appear. The higher the level of Sleep Style you find, the more Candies you receive.
Handy Candies, which are often received as rewards for weekly Missions, Sleep Style Dex goals, and various achievements, can be converted into your Pokemon Candy of choice.
If you have extra Pokemon you don't need, you can send them to Professor Neroli for 5 Candies each. Though you can also add these extra Pokemon into a Helper Team for random chances of getting Candies.

Tips to Fulfill Evolution Conditions
Evolution by Level Up
Leveling up your Pokemon to a certain level is the most common evolution condition.
You can use any extra Candies and Dream Shards you may have to level up your Pokemon quickly. Your Pokemon gains 25 EXP for every Candy that you use (for non-EXP Natures).
If you don't want to use any items, you can raise your Pokemon's EXP by going to sleep. Your Sleep Score determines the amount of EXP your Pokemon gain. Remember that only Pokemon in your active Helper Team will be able to gain EXP when you sleep.
How to Level Up Pokemon Fast
Evolution by Sleeping a Set Amount of Time
These Pokemon may take some time to evolve, but you should be able to fulfill this requirement in a few weeks if you maximize the daily Sleep Session limit of 8 hours and 30 minutes.
If you have difficulty getting this amount of sleep in a single Sleep Session, you can always divide it into two sessions per day.
Make sure to keep all the Pokemon that need this sleep evolution condition in your active Helper Team whenever you go to sleep.

Evolution Items
You can buy evolution items using Sleep Points at the Regular Exchange. You can also get evolution items by completing certain achievements such as the Level Ups achievement and the Team RP achievement.
Since each evolution item costs 1,400 Sleep Points, it may be ideal to aim for the achievements first. As you go through these achievements, you'll naturally earn more Sleep Points, which you can then use to buy any evolution items you may be missing.

Why Evolve Your Pokemon?
Evolved Pokemon Have Better Stats
Pokemon that have evolved tend to have better Helping Stats compared to non-evolved Pokemon.
They usually carry the same Berries and ingredients as their non-evolved forms, but they can help more frequently. They can also carry more items at a time, which will allow you to potentially get more ingredients.
Base Carry Limit Increases by 5
Caught Sudowoodo on the Left, Evolved Sudowoodo on the Right
If you evolve a Pokemon yourself, you may notice that it has a higher base carry limit compared to the same Pokemon caught in the wild. This is because evolving a Pokemon increases their base carry limit by 5 in addition to the already larger limit of an evolved Pokemon.
Evolved Pokemon Have Higher RP
Because evolved Pokemon have better stats, you can also expect them to have higher RP.
RP or Research Power determines how well a Pokemon can raise Snorlax. Pokemon with high RP, like evolved Pokemon, are well-equipped to increase Snorlax's Strength, which then increases the amount of Pokemon species you can find and the Drowsy Power you can get for a Sleep Session.
How to Get a High Team RP
Evolving Pokemon Levels Up Main Skill
Once you evolve your Pokemon, their Main Skill will automatically level up by 1. For some Pokemon, such as Eevee's evolutions, their Main Skill may also change.
This is a good advantage of evolving your Pokemon yourself over catching an already-evolved Pokemon.
To increase the level of a Pokemon's Main Skill without evolving your Pokemon, you will need a Main Skill Seed.
