“Bulk Up” Bean Curry, “Steadfast” Ginger Cookies, and “Overheat” Ginger Salad are the strongest dishes you can make even if you only have 35 Sleep Styles registered. These recipes also don't need any ingredients that unlock at level 30 or the Lapis Lakesisde-only Greengrass Corn.

Take note that these recipes still require you to either expand your cooking pot or wait until Sunday for the large cooking pot bonus.

After meeting the second Sleep Style Dex Goal, which is to register 12 Sleep Styles, you'll be able to follow recipes when cooking. It allows you to make dishes that you've made before, and shows you how many other dishes you have yet to make.

If you want to discover recipes all by yourself, try mixing and matching the ingredients you have in your inventory every time you're cooking a dish for Snorlax.

Check your recipe list for the ingredient portions of missing recipes. You won't be able to tell which ingredients are which until you've unlocked the recipe, but knowing the amounts you need should be able to help guide you.

When manually choosing ingredients, you can tap Preview to show what dish will be made after cooking. Recipes you've unlocked before will show up when you use the right ingredients, and those that you haven't unlocked yet will be displayed with a question mark (?).

The Auto Cook option selects random ingredients you have in your inventory and throws them in the pot. The dish that you'll get will depend on whatever ingredients were used.

As such, you may discover a brand new cooking recipe just by letting the game pick out the ingredients for you!

If you have ingredients that you want to save and prevent from being tossed into the cooking pot during Auto Cook, you can select up to 3 ingredients to mark as favorite.

Do this by tapping on Ingredient Options at the bottom right of your Cooking screen.

Snorlax Decides the Dish Type for the Week

Every Snorlax has a favorite type of dish, which will be the only type of dish you can cook for the week. This means that if your Snorlax likes stews and curries, you can only make stew and curry recipes regardless of the ingredients. You cannot make your dessert or salad recipes.

To change the dish type of your recipes, you will have to wait for a Snorlax with a different dish preference either by waiting for Monday to arrive or by using an E-Zzz Travel Ticket.

You can make breakfast, lunch, or dinner for Snorlax at designated meal times by tapping on Snorlax. Snorlax should have an icon on top of its head to indicate if you can cook a meal.

The more ingredients you add, the higher your dish Strength. Dish Strength is directly converted into Snorlax Strength once Snorlax eats the dish, so try to always add the maximum number of ingredients.

Some ingredients provide more strength than others. Uncommon ingredients such as Slowpoke Tail, Large Leek, and Tasty Mushroom are the best extra ingredients to add since they provide more strength than other ingredients.

Dishes have a random chance of being Extra Tasty. This effect doubles the Strength of your dish.

A new main skill called Tasty Chance S allows you to increase the chance of you getting Extra Tasty dishes. This multiplier will remain until you either make an Extra Tasty dish or go to another island.

On Sundays, at the end of the Pokemon Sleep week, there is a 20% increased chance to create an Extra Tasty dish for every meal you make that day.

Dish Strength directly contributes to your recipe's level. It somewhat serves as your recipe's EXP.

Higher level recipes tend to provide more Strength compared to lower leveled recipes. A dish's level cannot go down, so keep cooking in order to raise all your recipe levels!

How to Expand Cooking Pot

Unlock by Getting 35 Sleep Styles

Initially, you can only add up to 15 ingredients at a time when cooking dishes. Once you register 35 Sleep Styles to your Sleep Style Dex, you can expand your cooking pot by using Dream Shards. Three slots are added every time you expand your cooking pot.

Since most recipes require more than 15 ingredients, it's a good idea to expand your cooking pot to your current maximum limit when you have the resources if you want to unlock new dishes.

These are only the maximum limits for permanent cooking pot expansions. You can further increase the amount of ingredients you can add to your cooking pot temporarily through certain skills and the end-of-week bonus.

Your cooking pot gets temporarily larger on the last day of the Pokemon Sleep week. Every Sunday, your cooking pot will double its normal capacity.

Use Pokemon With Cooking Power-Up Skill

Some Pokemon such as Magnemite have the Cooking Power-Up Skill, which temporarily increases the capacity of your cooking pot for one meal when activated. Upon using this expanded cooking pot, the capacity is reset.

The maximum amount of extra ingredients you can get with this skill is capped at 200. This may be because adding more than 399 ingredients total to cook one dish may cause the game to crash.

Take note that Main Skills activate randomly when you tap on your Pokemon on the field. Include a Pokemon with this Skill to your Helper Team if you want a chance to temporarily expand your cooking pot.
